The City of Byram Fire Department is looking to hire experienced firefighters and non-experienced people who are interested in a career in fire-fighting.  We offer:

  • 24-hour shifts, once every 3 days, 8 a.m. to 8 a.m.
  • Must be 18 and have a high school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license
  • Covid vaccination required
  • Applications can be picked up at the fire station located at 200 Byram Parkway, Byram, MS 39272, Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.  DO NOT download an application from the city website as we have specific instructions attached to our application.
